Criminology deals with what are criminal phenomena, using tools related to the humanities (sociology, psychology and law). Criminologists study factors that promote delinquency or help prevent it. They can then propose appropriate legal and social measures.

The course of study aims to provide cultural, scientific and applied training for a professional figure within the Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology, aims to develop skills in understanding the logics, theories and practices of organizational design.

Graduates in the address will carry out professional activities in public and private legal-administrative fields, in administrations, in the third sector and in international organizations, for which a specific legal background is required.

In addition, the degree program offers insights into English language, computer science, forensic genetics, as well as aspects related to the world of communication in the area of “crime reporting,” and enables the student to acquire useful notions in various operational profiles that do not end with the merely legal ones.

There is also no shortage of analysis and opportunities for study concerning new fields of great topicality and interest, such as “cybercrime” and investigative criminology.
